Ken, it's a great show, and it's obvious you put a lot of work (and
love) into it. I'll be happy to write a letter of support.

Dear Ken,
We are so pleased to have been the site, and the presenter, for the world premiere of the professional production of "Oh Mr. Sousa!" yesterday afternoon. Our standing room only crowd of 465-plus enjoyed every minute.
As you are so well aware, it was made even more special by the fact that Sousa played the Opera House 100 years ago to the day, as well as celebrating a birthday on this day - November 6! I appreciate that you chose the Napa Valley Opera House to celebrate this momentous occasion.
Closer to home, my father always loved the Sousa marches - in fact, I grew up with them playing in the background usually around the dinner hour. My siblings and I were also known to march in step with the music - and these childhood memories came back yesterday afternoon sitting in the theatre.
Congratulations on creating a terrific show for all ages. I learned so much about the life and times of Sousa, his family, his music, his history and his personality (who knew). The music was so much fun, and you have assembled a talented cast of actors and musicians that bode will in telling the true story of "The March King."
I wish you great success in taking this work around the country and would be happy to recommend the show to fellow presenters. Thanks for all,
Evy
