First, thank you AGAIN for allowing us the honor to present the Southern California premiere of your new attraction, OH MR. SOUSA!, at Cal State Fullerton.
I don't need to tell you you've created a warm, interesting, musically thrilling evening that will go on to please countless thousands of audience members in seasons to come. But I do need to tell you that our capacity audience embraced your creation and gave it not one but TWO standing ovations.
OH MR. SOUSA! is both entertaining and educational. I learned more interesting details about Sousa's life than I could possibly have imagined. And that band! -- What wonderful musicmaking! It filled our newly opened Meng Concert Hall with both lovely melodies as well as rousing, patriotic, rafter-blowing patriotism. What a bonus that your actors are just as accomplished as they are vocalists.
I cannot recommend this show highly enough. It was such a pleasure to work with you in bringing the show "down South" and to watch the delight of the audience.
